The best time is between October and April when the weather is cooler and more comfortable for exploring. Summers can be extremely hot.
Essentials include lightweight, breathable clothing, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a scarf for protection against dust, and plenty of water. Nights can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket.
